Very Berry Dead
Written by José Pérez IV, Directed by Taylor Couch
The tragic loss of multiple family members brings those remaining back to the farm to bury the dead in the ancestral cemetery. However, Vermont state burial laws turn out to be a bit more strict than imagined, and space is getting tight in the old family graveyard. Who gets in, and who gets ditched? That's left up to the head of the family, the two feuding grown children, a rancher, a pagan, a visitor, and the town health officer who was not prepared for this kind of circus.
100min, no intermission, wheelchair and mobility accessible theater. Recommended age 13+ for cursing and discussions around death. Content warning, none is seen on stage but is discussed: Death, suicide, homophobia.

The Henry Heymann Theater is located in the basement of the Stephen Foster Memorial. 4301 Forbes Ave, directly across from Schenley Plaza, on the University of Pittsburgh's campus. The large red doors will lead you into the ground floor lobby, stairs or elevator down one floor to the theater. To find the wheelchair accessible elevator: facing the red doors, the pathway to the right takes you to the side of the building where a smaller entrance is found and the elevator is there.
